Mohan is another young face of the party, having worked in various districts of Karnataka promoting the ideals of the Aam Aadmi Party and building the organization at grass root level. He qualified as a technology professional from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Suratkal and then went to do his Masters with BITS, Pilani.
He is the founder chairman of Aarushi Foundation – a NGO that sponsors high school education to financially backward students – having sponsored around 200 such students. The NGO was a result of seeing many bright students opting out of higher education due to financial constraints.
Representing the enterprising youth brigade of the party, Mohan Dasari is fielded from Chitradurga (SC Reserved) constituency.
