Hassan Ali Sirquazi

Hassan Ali is aged 61 and has worked with the community and the society in several endeavors. As a former Railways employee, he has helped many people in getting their pensions and compassionate pensions for his railway employees.

He has also worked for the CAG and portions of his report were quoted in CAG’s presentations to the parliament.

As a true aam aadmi with concerns of taking care of the poor in society, he has visited government primary schools and taken classes on a completely voluntary basis for rural youth in the subjects of science and mathematics. He has helped many school dropouts to come to the mainstream since 1972 and also conducted adult education classes.

He has also volunteered to get health facilities to the poor from his village to get treatment and care in government hospitals. Hassan and his family have been involved in providing support in arranging marriages of poor people, including inter-caste marriages.
